Nina’s work has received accolades from numerous festivals including the Tribeca Film Festival, Cannes Lions, Webbys, Clios, Andys, D&AD, One Show and Tellys, and was inducted into SHOOT’S 2018 New Director Showcase. She was one of two females to direct a National Super Bowl Ad in 2021.
Her direction on Intel’s campaign for the opening Olympic Ceremony in Pyeongchang documented a world record breaking performance of more than 1200 drones flown simultaneously. The film was acclaimed by Adweek as one of the most coveted campaigns of 2018. Nina’s series for The Olympic Channel “IDENTIFY,” profiles five transgender athletes and their inspiring journeys, aired on NBC and won a WEBBY for Film and Television.
The acclaimed film “The Litas” explores the world of an all-female motorcycle collective in Rome, premiering on the opening night at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. The film portrays boundary-defying Italian women in pursuit of professions and passions traditionally held by men. Other projects include “An Escaramuza Story”, about an all-female, rodeo-like sport from Mexico that combines beauty, history, strength, and passion, kept alive in the US--and “Princess”, spotlighting a Native American teenage girl pursuing an Olympic boxing dream.
Nina has built an impressive portfolio in short order over the past few years, filming in over 30 countries for a variety of world-class brands including Nike, Facebook, Levi's, Adidas, BVLGARI, Puma, New Balance, Audi, Amex among others. More recently, she directed the stunning launch film for The Art of Drive, a massive global collaboration between Porsche, Vogue, and WIRED and starring St. Vincent. Created to inspire and educate a new generation of artists and innovators, it is little wonder that the one-of-a-kind collaboration’s debut was entrusted to Nina.
Nina lives in Los Angeles with her husband and beloved schnoodle Stella.
